Necklace with handmade grey and metallic glass and sterling silver beads.

One-of-a-kind necklace of quality craftsmanship, made of (47) individually handmade grey & metallic blown glass beads, accented with sterling silver and “raku” effects.  These (5) open hollow beads (very difficult to make) each have (9) tiny silver beads of various shapes strung inside that can move slightly from time to time to create the illusion of a live sea anemone.  On each side of the hollows are ceramic raku “chips”, that have been put in mineral ash when red hot to achieve this wonderful effect, and there’s no telling what color it will come out when cooled, but these have a fabulous rainbow luster that truly enhance the hollows with more beauty & interest.  This artful piece has many unusual shapes incorporated & great shades of grey.  It will surely become a favorite necklace to wear, styling many outfits and definitely a fun conversation starter.
